Prospering with 6G, Zhihui Jing Future: 6G Technology Innovation and Industrial Development Summit was successfully held

On July 5, the "6G Technology Innovation and Industrial Development Summit" was grandly held in Beijing. "At the beginning of the summit, the Beijing 6G Ecological Exhibition Hall was officially unveiled, and Beijing leaders and important guests visited the exhibition hall together. As an important part of the Beijing 6G Laboratory, the exhibition hall is not only the source of 6G core technology innovation, but also an important platform for industrial incubation and a key hub for ecological construction. The exhibition hall comprehensively demonstrates the layout and phased results supporting the country's 6G leading strategy through three dimensions: technology line, scene line and ecological line.

 

At the summit, Beijing's leaders said that Beijing attaches great importance to the innovation and development of 6G technology and will fully support the research and development of key 6G technologies and the construction of industrial ecology. Wang Jiangzhou, a foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and an academician of the Royal Academy of Engineering of the UK, and Wang Zhiqin, vice president of the Academy of Information and Communications, delivered keynote speeches respectively.

 

During the keynote speech, expert representatives from all walks of life, industry, academia and research shared the latest research results. Beijing 6G Laboratory Industry Partnership Cooperation Ceremony officially launched

As an important part of the summit, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economic and Information Technology took the lead in the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economic and Information Technology, and jointly launched the Beijing 6G Laboratory Industry Partner Cooperation Ceremony with the Institute of Information and Communications, operators, leading enterprises, universities and research institutes, and industrial partners. The Academy of Information and Communications Technology, China Telecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom will work with ZTE, Zhongguancun Pan-United College, Datang Telecom, Galaxy Aerospace and other units. At the same time, it has gathered scientific research forces from universities such as Tsinghua University, Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and Beihang University Integrated Key Research Platform. It will conduct in-depth research in the directions of 6G semantic communication, synesthesia computing and intelligence integration technology, cloudization, and space-space integration. The launch of this cooperation also marks the entry of Beijing's 6G technology research and development into a stage of collaborative innovation, and will further integrate resources, accelerate the implementation of technical research and scenarios, and help seize the commanding heights of global 6G technology.

 

Beijing Yizhuang creates a 6G SPACES new quality ecological community

"At the summit, Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone announced the launch of the 6G SPACES new quality ecological community to create a pilot zone for 6G innovation and development with global influence. The 6G SPACES community takes the entire Yizhuang New City as a test field to build a six-in-one industrial ecosystem of "technical breakthrough, pilot services, scenario opening, policy support, patience funds, and competition activities", formulate special policies to support the innovative development of 6G technology and industry, lay out key links in the industrial chain such as technology research and development, chips and high-end components, base stations and core network equipment, satellite-based communication equipment, high-performance communication instruments and instruments, third-party service platforms, and gather high-quality enterprises in the entire industrial chain, and strive to cultivate more than 100 high-quality enterprises by 2030, break through more than 50 core technologies, create 30 typical 6G benchmark cases, form a 50 billion-level 6G industry scale, help Beijing build a global 6G industrialization highland!
